Standard wall box

Standard boxes can be used in 95% cases.

This requires:
the replacement of original grid plate screws with other screws or with fastening claws,
the positioning of the grid plate flush with the finished wall surface, which requires the surface to be « trimmed » to the depth of about 2 mm,
establishing the axis between wall boxes in cases of multiple assemblies.
Standard horizontal axis :     71 mm
Standard vertical axis :        66 mm

If there is no wall box fitted, we recommend the use of a special box.

If a wall box is fitted and can be replaced with a special box, we recommend this step in order to optimize the installation.

If using a box on a hollow partition the box must be recessed by 4 mm below the wall surface.
